just stay out of the sun and wait it out....in the future use a sunscreen with a high spf if you dont want to get tan (i suggust 50)...in the meantime while you wait for you tan to dissappear try using a powder thats a little paler than your skin.

sometimes a bad sunburn can permanently leave a tan shade on your skin.. to think that daily, we spend a lot of time outdoors too, and our originally baby-fair color skin is already remote to achieve.. still, we can get closer to that.. :-)
you'll need a good skin lightener to help you exfoliate the outermost dark skin layer and reveal a fresher fairer skin tone.. skin lighteners should NOT contain hydroquinone, mercury or steroids, otherwise you'll be more hypersensitive to the sun which is more prone to sun damage or skin cancer.. start with using a mild skin lightening soap as your daily wash, followed by a good skin lightening lotion..

my skin does the exact same thing. all u can do is wait it out. u can use lighter powder but if its foundation make-up u'll just end up[ looking like ur faceis a total diff. color & thats just wierd. try body baby powder. it should fade soon enough. !xox

it will fade in no time (especially with the cooler weather) but it helps to avoid the sun
