1920's fancy dress party?
I'm going to a new year's fancy dress party and am trying to think of something reasonably easy, but different to dress up in/as. Rather than going for the flapper dress or gangster theme I was trying to think of something different.
For example, I could go as a mummy because Tutankhamen was found in the 20's, but I'm going to a Halloween party as a mummy so that it too samey.
Anyone got any good ideas for me?

go as betty boop!! she was first out in the 20s! (although she was still in black and white then - you can adapt to be red anyway)
i went to a 20s party last week!! i went for the boa, saclike dress, and cigerrette holder, but that coz i left it too long to do anythin original :(!.

I would dress as a downstairs maid .The twenties outfits were good and easy to recreate.
