Where can I find free drivers for Dell's Direct Media Player?

The DVD player in my Dell is very choppy. There is no way I can watch a DVD like that. I contacted Dell and was on the phone with them for 2 1/2 hours trying to fix the problem. They think it needs updated drivers. I don't want to spend $$ on a driver if it's not going to work.

Where can I find some free drivers for Dell's Direct Media software? Help.

    Drivers are free;

    http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.as...

    Search by your PC model for the correct and latest drivers for your media player. You can also search by tag, once you find the driver, download and install.

    100% free. :)

    go to www.dell.com. You will need your service tag (found on the bottom of your laptop or inside the front panel of your desktop) to get the appropriate driver. You will want to click on kind of machine you have from the front page (laptop or desktop) then choose home. then go to teh support tab then click on drivers and downloads. Here is where it will ask for your service tag. Find the driver for the device you need, download it then run it.

    Good luck!

    sounds to me that you have something running in the back ground using up cpu time close up all the programs you don't need running and close them and it probably wouldn't hurt to put some more ram into it there's no such thing as too much ram
