    No, there are other elevator manufacturers such as Mowrey, China, Jiangsu and KONE, but Otis is the largest. Elisha Otis invented the braking system for elevators making them safer, not elevators themselves. Elevators were in use long before he was even born.

    No, there are many different manufacturer's and installers in the world otis is just one of the largest in both categories, thay is why you see there name so much, also a lot of building owners do not allow manufacturer names on the equipment where the public can see it.

    No, but the company is one of the larger manufacturers, so you'll the name alot.
