Gretzky is not a great choice and Don Cherry is a senile joke of a man. Yeah, let's hire a commish who hates Euros and French people, actually hates almost anyone that was not born in Ontario. That would be a good idea. Can you imagine him negotiating a CBA? What does he have for an education, Grade 3?

Bob Nicholson is the logical choice.

While I can understand your sentiment, firing or impeaching Bettman won't change anything. All of the 30 owners - even if they went along with ousting Bettman - would end up hiring another puppet to carry on with the amendments to the game that have, up to now, been unpopular.

Instead of impeachment, let's just throw a couple of skates on him and have him fight Bob Probert.

I would prefer he be removed from office in a Wickerman ceremony but I would rather see Dryden or Branch or Nicholson take over.
