Baseball scoring question concerning a tipped strike?
If a strike that's slightly tipped by the batter ends up in the catchers glove (he was going to catch it anyway), is this credited as a strikeout (the batter had two previous strikes) or a pop-out caught by the catcher?
7 AnswersBaseball1 decade agoDid rookie holdouts to the extent of Michael Crabtree and the 49ers once exist in the NHL? Why or why not?

3 AnswersHockey1 decade agoHow much of a Conn Smythe's winner performance based on the first three series and the final one?
In a TSN poll this morning, Sidney Crosby leads the Conn Smythe race according to the internet faithful with 27.4% of over 17,000 votes, narrowly edging Wings goalie Chris "Ozzy" Osgood by 1.4%. Crosby has recorded just three points (one primary and one secondary assist as well as a goal in last night's game that exemplifies a "tip-in" play) in this finals series.

8 AnswersHockey1 decade agoBoy, this series just gets better and better?
Anyone else catch the Caps player that got dumped (albeit, dive or no dive) in the Pittsburgh zone before the Pens went the length of the ice and scored with a second remaining on the PP?
In no way am I complaining here as the Caps are a division rival but you gotta believe that after all the complaining the Capitals have done to the league over officiating, something like that gets called.

3 AnswersHockey1 decade agoWhat was that game show in the 90's that had a panel of celebrities and the contestant could do an odd stunt?
The panel had to guess at what the contestant could do or say. The guessing board was a giant head, I remember that. Haha.
