When a team pulls its goalie against the worst team in the league, could their possibly be a problem?

Update:

For those who didn't see, the Bolts pulled their 3rd stringer Karri Ramo against the Islanders last night.

Update 2:

BOB - No, I mean pulling as in benching the starter.

Update 3:

LAYING LOW - "Four in a row, time to break up the team."

Hahaha.

well there isnt a possibilty of there being a huge problem with the team...even the best teams have a bad game here or there...it could simply be a bad day

It's never a fun thing for a fan to watch, but it doesn't necessarily mean there's something really wrong. Sometimes the best goalies have bad days and sometimes the best teams (which the Bolts clearly aren't) lose to the last place teams. It happens.

With all due respect to the Bolts fans, of all the things to point towards looking for problems with the Bolts, I'd put this pretty low on the list.

  • I saw it. Seems like the Islanders are trying to hand you Tavares. Then again, it's a bigger problem if you can only score 1 goal off the Islanders 3rd string goalie. Four in a row, time to break up the team. Actually, some players finally got healthy. Always have a killer road trip coming up later this month to bring the Islanders back to reality.

I am bandwagoning for Atlanta, TB, Nashville, Ottawa, Colorado, and Toronto now, since I can't really want the Isles to lose.

Well, one problem is that I don't know if Ramo was really prepared. Smith apparently hurt himself bashing up a Gatorade box, really dumb move on his part.

Also, the Islanders are ripping through opponents lately. Don't know what it is, maybe Danis. He's been seriously awesome and totally on top of his game! When MacDonald comes back he better not replace Danis.

The Isles have made teams pull their goalie 4 games in a row (if you mean for an extra attacker).

From what I saw of the game.....it was like watching pee-wee hockey.

Without Weight AND Streit I would have fallen asleep.

I wonder how many people in Tampa were yelling at their televisions, "Ramo YOU suck" after those weak goals.

So TBL what is tonight going to bring for you and I both?

Pens vs. Lightning.......a battle for last place? Okay, so maybe Pittsburgh is near last place yet, but if they continue at their current pace they will be battling for Tavares.
