Did rookie holdouts to the extent of Michael Crabtree and the 49ers once exist in the NHL? Why or why not?

Been far too long since I've asked a question on here, eh?

I don't know but I thought that I hadn't answered a question on here in so long that it would only be fitting to short change you on my two cents worth. (what the hell did I just say?)

Yeah, as someone else said, Lindros and it seems to me Paul Kariya had a lot of trouble accepting the fact he might need to prove himself worthy before getting the big bucks early in his career too.

not sure, but the crabtree situation is ridiculous!! an unproven rookie, and he wants to get paid big bucks? please... the NFL salary is stupid...rookies getting 40MM $ guaranteed contracts....absolutely STUPID!!!!
