What format do you use to make CD's for your car?
I'd like to know what extension you use to make music CD's for my car from my computer. I tried MP3, but that didn't work, and instead of trying ALL formats, I would like to know before I burn more to test. Also just in case I don't have that format on my computer, can you suggest a program that has that particular format. I prefer freeware.

If yo have an older cd player in your car, it may not support mp3's or wav's.
Whe you burn the cd make sure you have your setting to burn the cd as an audio disk. This should allow you to play it on any cd player. You will only be able to get 15-20 standard length songs on it.

I keep mine as wavs, so I can fit more on there. But that's because the CD player in my car is compatible with that format, and most other types of players are not.

you can use media player, just put them in one playlist as if you were going to play them on the computer.
go to burn and then click on the burn button
