how did you start watching wrestling?

at first i thought it was stupid, but i saw my brother watch it, and i got hooked, so i started watching it on mondays and fridays, and now i know every superstars name and their special.

Well once upon a time i was a bored 5th grader one summer evening and i was flipping through channels and I stopped and saw a wrestling ring with Triple H beating someone up with a steel chair and there was blood...and being the freak that i was i frikken loved it!!!! Anyways i didn't watch it on a regular basis but i caught onto some favorites like Chris Jericho and Triple H back in the day. I don't remember how or when i stopped watching after a while and lost track of it, and then some years later when Smackdown switched to Friday nights, One Friday night my friends were all busy and i had nothing to do, so i turned on the TV and to my suprise Friday Night Smackdown was on. At first i thought it was stupid and didn't see why anyone including myself watched it but then everytime I didnt hang out on Friday nights i watched and got into the storylines again as well as the action. Now i'm hooooked!

Not much of a story-I started watching wrestling with my late father when I was 5 yrs old, and have been watching it every chance I get since then. I am now way over 5 =)

What year did you start watching wrestling? 1997 What was the first wrestling match you watched? I remember attending a house show at the age of 3. The main event was Bret Hart vs. The Patriot. I don't remember anything else from the event. And that is the first match I watched. That I can remember, anyway. Who was your first favorite wrestler? The Undertaker Who was your first least favorite wrestler? Kane. Which is weird because now he is one of my favourites. lol What was the main reason that made you wrestling fan? Older brother watched it in the late eighties. We've been wrestling fans ever since.

About ten years ago my dad was watching a Bret Hart match on WCW Nitro and I asked him "who's the guy in the pink tights?" and from there I started watching wrestling and became the biggest Bret Hart fan this side of the Atlantic.

I was so young, I don't even remember. My dad, brother, and I used to sit down and watch it all the time. Back then, you had the WWE (with Iron Shiek as the champ), NWA (dominated by the Four Horsemen, the Koloffs, Rock and Roll Express, and Midnight Express), and AWA (I still remember the screw up where Scott Hall and Curt Hennig lost the tag titles on a countout). Eventually, the Von Erich-dominated WCCW started showing up on TV around here too.

A few years ago, I was watching the TV Guide channel, and I saw "WWE Monday Night RAW", on Spike TV. I thought,

"Oh, this should be funny, gay a$s wrestlers in tights pretending to punch each other."

So I put it on. I was surprised to see what I saw. I saw John Cena, Trademarc, and Bumpy Knuckles performing "Bad, Bad Man". I kept the TV on that channel for the rest of the show.

I've been a wrestling fan ever since, just now I'm also a fan of many other wrestling shows. TNA, ROH, IGF, NOAH, and CMLL.

I can thank John Cena for getting me into wrestling.

I started watching wrestling in June 2003. My dad was watching it and then I got into it. I like watching it, because it entertains me.

I got the Game cube for my birthday a long time ago and my dad bought me two games and one of them was Day Of Reckoning (wrestling game) and its really fun. I used to play it all the time. So then i saw like this pamphlet on the game box about the show and how the game is based on it so i gave it a try and now i LUV IT! i NEVER miss Monday Night Raw.

my favorite is Shawn Michaels

I watched small parts but never a whole show.

Then in 1995, I began watching it when I saw Monday Nitro when Chris Benoit and Kevin Sullivan fought all the way into the bathroom.
