How about that 80's movie "Amazing Grace and Chuck"? Its about an NBA player and a little league baseball player who both refuse to play another game until the cold war is ended. I think. Anyone remember this one?

well there's this HBO film called White Light/Black Rain that's about the bombings at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I hope that can help.
