Does Advantage flea control really work on dogs?
My dog is allergic to fleas. She is itching and biting herself raw. She can only have one or 2 fleas and she does this. Does Advantage really work?

It certainly does, so does Frontline and Revolution.
You will have to treat your house as well, so get a spray from a vets. Advantage etc will keep your dog treated for fleas, but if you don't also treat your house they will still be about, because most of a flea population lives in the house. If your dog is allergic, it's important to be 100% flea free.

Frontline and advantage are both excellent for getting rid of fleas.
I have some at home now that I keep just in case. Dog hasn't had fleas in a few years.
couple drops of advantage and the fleas are gone in 48 hours or less. Its excellent.

OMG YES! Advantage is one of the best, if the THE BEST, flea control for dogs out there. Make sure you wash her bedding frequently in hot water. That will help reduce any fleas she may have brought inside.

I have used Advantage for my 2 dogs (Golden Retriever and Poodle/mix) for 4 years....I have never seen a flea!

My vet told me that the fleas and ticks are becoming immune to frontline and advantage so you might need frontline plus or something else from the vet.

Hasn't worked for my dogs and I was using it for many years, then I switched to Frontline Plus and now that's not working either so I'm now on Revolution which is working great so far 2 months later.

No.
Try Bio-Spot, check out this link. Best prices, offers a comparison chart for all the brands and consumer ratings/comments on all products. I use Bio Spot and it works great on everything (fleas, ticks & skeets).

i think it works great. you should start with frontline first though. apply it for 3 to 4 months then switch over to the advantage.
