Cramping after bowel movement?

I am 31 weeks 5 days pregnant with my fourth child. I have been dealing with constipation and diarehha for a while now. Lately I have notice that after I have a bowel movement I have period like cramps that last about 20 minutes and go away. I don't remember having this with my other children. Should I be worried?

Same thing happens to me! I would say don't worry about it but ask your doctor, even though its kinda embarrasing, at your next visit.

I didn't have those symptoms, but if you want to read the signs of labor I had with all of my pregnancies go here: http://www.birthbabyandmom.com/signs-of-labor.html

Each labor started differently. I've had 3 babies, trust your body, and if you sense something's not right, call your doctor or midwife.

I had all 5 babies at home, with a midwife, and I called her when I had a concern.

Also, when I'm struggling with constipation I up my water intake and take some liquid chlorophyll, which is great for keeping my iron levels up. Works great for me!

    All the best,
