Grand Theft Auto 4 or Metal Gear Solid 4?

Metal Gear Solid 4, because it is a console exclusive and it's the last game you'll ever see Snake in. Also, Hideo Kojima makes much more cinematic games than rockstar, even though GTA is a great series, it can't touch MGS.

MGS4 is probably a better choice. Here's why: One of the best features of MGS4 will be the online co-op and multiplayer modes. Those features have a limit on the amount of time they are useful. By a year out some of the fun will be lost as other online players find other games to play. It's a first person shooter and as such it is competing with ALOT of other very good games that will undoubtedly pull from this games audience as the game gets older and the newness wears off. GTA4 is developing a multiplayer mode, but it is likely that it is not going to be a significant factor in the fun of the game. The GTA series is known for it's storyline and the mayhem aspect, and that doesn't loose steam with time. Getting GTA4 six months later, a year later, even 2 years later is likely to be just as fun as having it the first day. By then it is likely to cost significantly less money to buy. As a general rule, online games that you play against or with other people primarily should be purchased when they come out for maximum enjoyment. Single player games can be purchased at any time and tend not to loose their appeal just because the game has been out for a while.

Hard choice I also pre ordered the GTA special edition but I'd want GTA 4 more but i would get MGS4 cause thats the last one you see snake in

Very good question. I think, that I'll try this solution: I'll trade even three PS3 games for MGS 4, but I'll buy GTA IV first anyway. Very hard decision, indeed! :-)

P.S. I was waiting for 16th of October since the day I bought my PS3 and that delay thing really pissed me off.

MGS4 is my choice... it's also going to be an Online game as well.

Now i have too pick I would pick............................................................................................................................. MGS4. Even thought GTA4 will have online play and will be more mature and better, MGS4 just grabs my attention. Dont die Snake, Snake,Snake, Snaaaaaaaaake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(
