Its sad that some people he have shouted " hell no not prison"...

so what would be a good deterrent?

I just dont understand why people would say that.

maybe they dont regard the life of an animal as much. They breathe, feel and bleed the same as we do.

Laws are made and should not be broken. Any one person is NOT above the law and if the law states prison, then so be it. I have to wonder what kind of a person can kill an animal and wonder even more how people can think a prison sentence is too tough.

If you ask me, they need to give more prison stints to bad people, then we may just start to live in a safer world.

'morning Kam, Doubt if prison would do much good! Wonder if the RSPB would be willing to bring a private prosecution. His CO should slam him hard for bringing his regiment into disrepute. Cutting his credit lines may make the little b****r suffer a bit!

I think it's too much to expect someone from the House of Windsor to be smart enough either to understand the law or to tell the difference between a hen harrier from a wood pigeon. Look, the boy dressed up as an SS officer and did not know it was offensive! They will have to let them off just as you would excuse the village fool for weeing on the village green.

Yeah right like we're really going to send a member of the Royal Family to prison! We can't even get paedophiles into prison (thank you so much former home secretary John Reid) I doubt he will get a fine either.

He should go to prison. He and his mate killed two hen harriers - there were only 20 pairs left in England for effs sake, now there are only 18 or 19. B a s t a r d royals should not be above the law.

Unfortunately, because he has a fancy title, it's not going to happen. He and his pal killed two extremely rare birds in cold blood. The bloody Royals are above the law, and it's totally ridiculous.

If he is proved to have been involved he should received the same sentence as a non Royal would get.

Allegedly of course!... by shooting protected birds of prey... this protects the 'game birds'... so they can shot later in the year.... to make lots of lovely dosh from mega-rich clients. The Royals have always involved in 'blood-lust'... hares and foxes are the favourite. They still live in a Time Warp.

No. He should be shot at. Lots of buckshot up his arris. Then he should go to specsavers as he is obviously lacking in the old eyeball department.

Its a bird. It would have died at some time anyway.
