Why do pay rises never run concurrent with inflation?.?

The Blairs and Browns and Bushes do not have to take into consideration a few % increase in inflation. But for the likes of you and me it can mean all the difference between surviving or not!.

It's a lot bigger than Blair, Brown, and Bush.

There is NO magic pile of money. Pay raises increase an employers expenses. For most business payroll is at the top of the list of expenses. And inflation affects business too.

It's the difficulty of living where inflation is the way things are done.

The problem is although it is nice to receive a rise only receiving a 3.5% rise in accordance to inflation does not help when in fact the living cost normally rise between 6/8%, and dont forget that is 8% on all items. It does`nt matter to the powers to be on their six figure sums.

Because the longer they can keep the working class from getting an increase, the more profits they make.

Even if pay rises were index linked, inflation does not take into account many expenditures, so you would still be out of pocket! It is called politics (or Bol**ks), same word really. lol

becuase every time this has been done in the past it leads to hyperinflation. you would be getting pay rises every week.

    pay rises fuel inflation
