Well from my incredibly vast experience with girls, yeah right, let me reassure you, without knowing it, you did the right thing. Everyone around me just wants to grow up so quickly. I say just relax and enjoy yourself. Being friends is way cooler than going steady :)

But I think it's cool that you're passionate. Why don't you pick up a musical instrument like the harp or the violin. You could then be sorrowful by the moonlight and let the stars soothe your melancholy as you play for them.

I don't think you're really ready to be in a relationship with serious emotions. If you can't handle him being grounded for like 2 weeks- it's not gonna work.

Also you're kind of young to be in love so early. Don't get tied down babe, when you go to high school... whole new world of guys opens up... it's beautiful :)

This may sound harsh but I don't believe that at your age and maturity level that you even know what love is yet. Just based on the circumstances surrounding this "relationship" you both sound very naive. Believe me honey bigger and better things are yet to come and broken hearts can be mended.

why didn't you just stay together until he's ungrounded... Well, I would say you should tell him exactly what you told us. Just say that you like him, but it didn't feel like you were going out and he was grounded so you hardly spent time together but You do like him and want to go out with him again and that you made a mistake. Or something like that, just be honest and open.

ok so i dont really understand why you broke up with him?? only because he was grounded?? thats a dumb reason... if you really like this guy, him being grounded shouldnt make a difference.. if you like him, try and see if he will give you another chance to be together.. good luck...

There's nothing realy you guys can do, your in 8th grade. He was grounded. You have to wait. You see him at school right? That's good enough right now. Do your homework, get good grades and stay in school.

And knowing is half the battle.

Honey, you are sooo young first of all. But if you really really like him..you don't break up with someone just because they are grounded lol.

u broke up b/c he was grounded? why? try again? what? yes u broke ur own heart. it's up to him if he wants to be with u anymore. u can't can't fix it, deal with it.
