Voting own's questions...?
How many of us (including me) vote for our own answer to be the best?
count me in... everyday, i find time to check on my previous answers and if the question is already on poll, i vote for my answers...
Have courage to admit it... I'm not the only one for sure... lolz...
Edit...
Sorry "Voting one's answer" was the question supposedly.

Occasionally I've done that. Just as often, I've gone back and voted for someone else, or not voted at all.

I dont because I am too busy answering questions. I go back to look at thumbs up and see what ppl thought of my answers but I only vote if I see it and then, how can you remember your answer? I pick which one I like best but that is why I only have 8% best answer and you have 31%

Hey, it's an allowable function of the voting process. Yahoo set it up this way. I have voted for some of my own answers when I thought they were good. I've also seen better answers than my own and voted for them instead.

Well, I see absolutely nothing wrong with it. If you were attentive enough to answer a question and that person didn't care to chose a BA, I see nothing wrong with you voting for your own answer, after all you gave the answer that you thought was best...I personally don't do it out of laziness but, if you have the patients to do it, good for you!
- How do you think about the answers? You can sign in to vote the answer.

Back when I only answered 20 or 40 quesrions a day. Now I have unlimited answers and I don't feel like going through all of my questions looking for it anymore.

If I have an answer that I really feel adamant about, I'll go back and vote for it (if I remember to do so!). Otherwise, I usually don't bother.
If Yahoo didn't want you to vote for yourself, they would not have made it possible. Even when you're running for President, you vote for yourself! (and once again, I usually don't bother to vote)

Lots of people do it. It's perfectly legal. It's not cheating....I really do think that my answer is the best. :) Actually, in some cases I have found answers that I truly thought were better than my own and I voted for them.

I admit I used to occasionally but it's pretty boring and tedious. I have enough points and the points don't mean anything anyway. I prefer to push on and answer more questions.

maybe a couple of times, i answer too many questions 2 have the time 2 check each one.

I see no point, its only numbers, i would rather have my answer picked as best, im not a point grabber and i dont want to be, i think its wrong, and that goes for people who have multiple accounts that answer their own questions to pick best answer for it.
but each to their own
edit: i honestly dont think i would know which answer was mine to vote for it, do you write it all down on paper or something so you know which is yours?
