  • What happens if felony charges are dropped by the party who pressed?

What happens to someone who is in jail (on a large bond they cannot come up) while awaiting arraignment for multiple felony charges? The charges were pressed by someone with a grudge who now regrets his action. This is in Florida, and arraignment does not happen for weeks and weeks.

  • SYTYCD: Who will be the choreographers tonight?

Travis Wall has already "gifted" people with his choreography, most notably, Robert and Kent. And I am sure it could make a difference tonite.

How do they choose who will choreograph on any given week?

  • SYTYCD: Who should go? 2 this week!?

I know that Jose's lack of training has caught up with him, but who else should go?

I was prepared to see Billy go, but he finally got some moving choreography and it was sublime.

I know Kent seems to be a big favorite, he's always quite good, but I didn't find anything that he has done to be particularly MEMORABLE...in the prom number, I was more riveted on Lauren.

Now that Alex is gone, I'm ready for a 5-way tie for 1st place, they can just dance every week for fun lol

    What do you think?

  • SYTYCD sends home 2 tonite. Who should go?

I guess it's time that Jose's lack of formal training has caught up with him, but who else should go?

I was prepared for Billy to go, but last night, he finally got a moving piece of choreography...

Now that Alex is gone, I'm ready to call it a 5 way tie and we all go home lol.

    What do you think?

  • What's the best way to recycle used print cartridges?

I've got at least 3 dozen used cartridges that I've meant to recycle in some way, hopefully for some financial benefit. They are HP, Canon and Lexmark. I'm hoping to hear ideas from people who do this regularly. Thanks!

  • Why are no partial payments allowed?

We just fell behind on our mortgage, We have not paid February, nor March. We just received a notice from the lender about proceeding with foreclosure...demanding full payment of Feb., Mar. and Apr. by April 15.

We did phone the lender and have paperwork coming for possible relief because the mortgage is Freddie Mac

We said we can and would like to begin sending partial payments, what we can as soon as we can and were told "NO, it's not set up that way."

Can anyone explain this to me?

    Thank you.

  • What kind of lily do I have? Or is it even a lily?

I live in Florida and was given a 2 year old potted plant, described as an Easter lily, at the end of last summer. It consisted of nothing but 2 opposing long tapered leaves, spring green in color. Last month, a stem shot up and produced 2 opposing pink and white flowers that looked like trumpet lilies. After they faded, I now have 3 new long tapered leaves growing from between the original two leaves.

I thought true lilies had very multiple short tapered leaves growing all up the stem, no?

Can anyone help me identify what I have by my despcription? I sure wish I had photographed it while in bloom. :-(

  • AI -- Brooke White, I don't get it?

First of all, I must say I REALLY like Brooke White, she seems to be the most genuinely lovely person, and I could listen to her all night.

BUT. I honestly thought that she tanked on "You're So Vain" and "Every Step You Take". She does not seem -- and to me, did not sound -- strong or nasty enough for either song. She was not believable to me. I know the judges LOVED them, but did anyone else share my reaction?

  • david archuletta's song choice?

So who did Simon think chose the song? Was that a dig at the infamous father? Does the father do that sort of thing?

  • American Idol -- verstility anyone?

I find that a few of the contestants have not shown much versatility yet, including a favorite or two of my own. I know they are all torn between being "themselves" and showing a they can perform over a good range. Also,so far, the song cateogories have been somewhat limiting. It leaves us wondering who can deal with todays' sound.

So far, it seems like Chikezie and Carly are the only ones who have succeeded in rocking and balladeering. I am wanting to hear the rest of them change it up. (I don't think Brooke can do it, and Kristy really, please go home.)

    Thoughts?

Within a given brand, is ceiling paint somehow different in composition from flat wall paint?

  • Bare legs?

Where was I when bare legs became "in"? I was thumbing through my daughter-in-law's People magazine and could not believe the photos. I am all for bare legs in every casual occasion possible, but evening wear??? I have never sen so many ugly knees in my life, some of them look like orthopedic anatomy textbooks. The same knees, I admit, that would look fabulous and bracing at the beach or on a tennis court. Where are the fashion police on this one?

  • Will cleaning help a sick tv?

I have an huge old RCA ProScan TV in my basment that has been ignored for years. Before I go out and drop a bundle for a new TV, I'm trying to find out if this thing works and I am totally and hopelessly non-tech. I never even learned much about navigating it when it was new, could barely turn it on and off to my family's specifications :-(.

So I have gotten to the point where it's on and there is barely an image on the tvguide channel. Superimposed is grey with quivering white lines, almost but not totally horizontal.

My question: Someone told me I MIGHT be able to improve things it I clean "the inside". Cigarette smoke would be the major grime. Anyway, does anyone know if that could help or is a total waste of time?

    Many thanks.

  • How many Mexicans...?

are allowed to legally immigrate to the US this year? I used Mexicans just as a "for instance". Immigration is such a huge issue these days, and I am trying to find out what the quotas are for various nationals. Tomorrow is voting day here in Virginia, and I am not even sure what "immigration laws" really are. Thanks to anyone who can help or point to a website.

  • Typically, when an infant in the U.S. is relinquished for adoption, isn't it more often the MAN...?

who determines the future? When a man refuses to honor his obligation to his child, the woman is forced to consider all the "second-best" options. When she rejects aborting her child, she must then make the best choice she can for her child's life. (I believe whichever choice she makes, it is highly probably the right choice).

HOWEVER, I see lots of folks jumping all over the women who are considering relinquishing their children for adoption --- AND I have yet to see a word about the merry skippers. Isn't it they who have made parenthood untenable?

  • Idiotic AI question here...?

Maybe I'm just a sore loser, but I do have this nagging feeling that Melinda Doolittle was done in by her wig. The childhood pix they showed, with her hair up in pigtails were adorable and her neck looked, well, normal sized. The wig looked kind of oppressive.

    Any thoughts?
