david archuletta's song choice?

So who did Simon think chose the song? Was that a dig at the infamous father? Does the father do that sort of thing?

    I think the dad probably did...he has been reported to be very mean and overbearing with David and his singing. Poor David...

    What are you talking about? (about the father)

    As for the song choice: I thought Archuleta sounded like a wiener. I absolutely hated it and while he was singing I told my husband "this sounds like some corny song that would be sung at an inspirational semminar." Then Simon said what he did about "theme park music with characters dancing around" and I said "YES! That's it!"

    I do not know who chose the song... he himself may have. But i do not think it was a good song for him...BUT VOTE FOR HIM!!!!! Please??
