What happens if felony charges are dropped by the party who pressed?
What happens to someone who is in jail (on a large bond they cannot come up) while awaiting arraignment for multiple felony charges? The charges were pressed by someone with a grudge who now regrets his action. This is in Florida, and arraignment does not happen for weeks and weeks.

It won't matter. The State will pick up the charges and prosecute anyways. So much for a free country, right?
