Do SEC fans realize that this season is not the same as last season?

They are different seasons, just like next year won't be the same as this year. Do you see the pattern developing? And I bet the SEC doesn't make the NC game next year either, does that make it a conspiracy? What happens when Les Miles jumps ship and heads to Michigan (they're in the Big Ten)?

Are you sure that OSU had a better team last year? They have better defence this year though. And apparently some people are living in the past, Flordia may of smoked OSU in a game, OSU had a bad game, so if OSU were to play LSU this year would it automatically mean that LSU will smoke them with a larger margine? No, the past doestn mean squat, the way you play on game day determines who wins, not previous stats etc...There is always upsets in sports.

I think it's silly that they support a conference. I kind of care how the big ten does, and think it is never given the credit it is due, but I wouldn't consider myself really a big ten fan. All I hear from SEC fans is how much more dominate and better the SEC is from top to bottom, but I look at the records, and the conferences are 4-4 head to head in bowl games over the last 3 season. It's the same over 5 and ten years. Considering quite a few of those games have been in the home state of the SEC team, and never once in the home state of the big ten team playing in the game, I think that says something. I am smart enough to know the big ten is down the last couple years, and I know they will be back on top, just like the big 12, ACC, SEC and Pac ten all have their up and down cycles. I don't think the SEC fans ever think their conference isn't the best. The dude below me is a rarity. So I guess I should say that a lot of SEC fans are ignorant to the level of play outside of their conference, but not all of them. Miss M, the reason people bring up the SEC fans, is because they get annoyed with them. If I ask a question about Ohio State's schedule, I will get at least 3 SEC fans chiming in about how bad Ohio State sucks, how great the SEC is, and nothing about the actual question. Same thing when you ask about USC or pretty much anything about college football.

LSU will make it they win out and win the SEC championship game... The SEC is still quite a good conference in my book.

"That said, OSU will lose again because they will not have played anyone the whole year. Any top team from the SEC, Big-12, or Pac-10 will beat them. They would beat lousy B.C. though."

Kansas would beat Ohio State? Mizz U? Texas? Oklahoma?

Kansas has played Central Michigan, SE Louisana, Toledo, Florida Intl, and Baylor, those look like pretty easy wins to me and Ohio State has a easy schedule you say...

Keep drinking that Big 12 kool aid StoneWall!

Other than a decent Oklahoma team that got beat by Boise State last year, not a chance...

    Ohio State Vs the Big 12 28 - 4

Ohio State Vs Big 12 in Bowl games 5 - 0

Lol, this is coming from a fan where his conference cannot count. Last I remembered there were eleven teams and with that being said, why do they call it the Big-10. I think the Envious Eleven would be a better fit.

As far as Les Miles, the only reason he would opt for the Envious Eleven is because it is easier to get to the championship game because of the usually weak conference and one that lacks a championship game. Oh is that the reason OSU didn't have to play a Top 10 Wisconsin team last year. Woo-Hoo! What studs y'all are.

SEC fans seem to be a little blind to the fact that none of their teams are that good this year. Their only hope is for LSu to get in because the Championship is a home game for them. Any team that palns on beating them in New Orleans better be a 17 point favorite on a neutral field. I don't see any team being that much better. LSU must be kept out of that game for it to be a fair one. That said, OSU will lose again because they will not have played anyone the whole year. Any top team from the SEC, Big-12, or Pac-10 will beat them. They would beat lousy B.C. though.

Source(s): I was at the 2003 Championship game there where Oklahoma was screwed out of two turnovers on penalties and had other drives stopped on some VERY cheesy calls.

Well, since OSU had a better team last year than they do this year, I think it would bode you well to live in the past. IF OSU makes the championship game and IF they square of against LSU, I am predicting a victory for the Tiger's even more lopsided than last years game.

It is all about speed brother, some got it, some don't.

Oh yea, you can have Les Miles. While he has done a good some keeping us afloat with back to back 11-2 seasons, he has squandered National Championship talent two years in a row and is on the verge of doing it again.

Edit annarbor- You can polish a turd all day long, in the end, it is still just a turd. The fact that you can actually, with a straight face, brag about OSU accomplishments to date is laughable. Time will tell, you delusional retard.

PS- that wasn't my sister, that was your mother. I know, I know, you could not recognize her without her Waffle House uniform on. I assure you, it was her.

Hate to break it to you, Sparky, but most SEC fans don't realize that this isn't 1959.

Hard to believe, I know, but when you're so busy trying to get your sister to go to the prom with you, it's hard to keep up with things like integration, education, and the changing of one football season to the next.

    PS:

In the name of all that is Holy, please just say no to Miles. We want Lloyd right where he is: looking up to Tressels.

LSU BALLS: Who's living in the past? This Buckeye team is better than last year's model. They just didn't start the season with the same hype. Sure, Boeckman doesn't have Smith's running game, but his ability to run the offense is better. Ginn and Gonzalez are gone, but Harline and Robo are more than making up for those losses. Laurinitis is a freak, Gholston is a freak (like the best of the SEC D Ends), the kicking game is solid (we think...haven't used it much), and overall team speed is vastly improved.

Yep. We got our butt's handed to us. It just happened to be an SEC team that did the handing. Watch the game again and tell me where the fault lies. Could it be coaching that abandoned the running game after pulling within ten points? Could it be a defensive scheme that never forced Leak to make a quality throw? Whatever it was, it ain't happening again.

Not that it matters. Once Bama knocks your puzzycats out of the race, it's all about Oregon for us.

Okay. You can go back to humping your sister.

Do Pac 10 fans realize it's not 2005?

Preach, brother Buckeye. SEC fans seem to be living in the past.

Comparing last year's NC game to this years is ridiculous.

It's a good example of Southern arrogance and ignorance at its finest.

You mean summer and fall. It's a lot warmer down here than in Michigan. It still feels like summer.
