  • Should Penn State changed their team name from the Nittany Lions to .......?

the Fudge Packers? Since so many fans are in denial this change will remind them of the gravity of the situation for eternity. Your thoughts?

  • Do you feel safe knowing that..........?

the FBI recently captured their No. 2 most wanted man after Osama. He was living in California and had to cross the border into Mexico on a regular basis to obtain heart medication. He would buy his medication and then come back into the U.S. They caught him at his apartment in California not at a border crossing. Wow, are our borders safe or what.

  • Perhaps Tiger's putting woes are the result of?

I remember when Mrs. Arnold Palmer was on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and Carson asked her if she did anything special to help Arnie before a big tournament. She replied, 'Well, I kiss his balls' to which Carson responded "Does that make his putter stand out.' So perhaps that is the problem with Tiger in that perhaps Elin doesn't kiss his balls anymore. What do you think?

  • How 'bout those cocks?

I am surprised there is no mention of the gamecocks on Y/A. I thought the game last night was spectacular to say the least. Yes, it did not have the offensive power folks like to see but the pitching and defensive plays were top notch. Hats off to the gamecocks for a truly great win. What a way to close-out Rosenblatt Stadium. Did anyone else feel the same way?

  • What is your favorite football quote? Mine is ......?

when Deacon Jones was being interviewed and they asked him about his pass rush technique. It went something like this 'When you slap a man or woman upside the head it makes them blink. That blink is all I need to get by them.' That was one mean dude.

  • Is it just me or do other folks think that the federal judges of the 9th circuit appeals court.....?

have gone over the top in ruling that felons behind bars in the State of Washington (i.e., you have to start somewhere but it would lead to all states in their jurisdiction at some point) have the right to vote. Hhhhmmm, something smells fishy here in that it sure would be easy to buy a vote from these characters. Of course I have nothing but disdain for federal judges since they live in la-la land. What do you think of some of this nation's most violent criminals say like a Charles Manson being able to vote?

  • Was it just me or did Favre seem like.....?

he was having a hard time getting the rest of his body besides his arm to help him throw the football. His mechanics looked really strange in that he was off balance so many times when throwing and he was not moving or under pressure. After 12 games this season has he started to show signs of fatigue. Sure looks like it to me. Anyone else?

  • Okay Gator Nation do you think....?

Tebow's message this week (i.e., scripture in the black eye paint) will be Proverbs 20:1 which reads 'Wine is a mocker and beer is a brawler whoever is led astray by them is not wise? :0)

  • LSU fans... is it just me or does ...............?

watching LSU on offense seem like watching ' Dude, where's my car.' The end of the Ole Miss game reminded me Kutcher and Scott trying to tell one another what the tattoo on their back said (i..e, dude and sweet). Watching LSU on offense is like watching the Keystone Cops. Anybody else come away with this feeling that the LSU coaching staff can't find it's behind with both hands. Also, why not let Jefferson call his own plays against Arkansas in that he couldn't do much worse. Thoughts?

  • Hey Tennessee Vol fans Lane Kiffin sure can.......?

recruit. I mean three freshman are charged with attempted armed robbery. Perhaps Vol fans should wear orange jumpsuits to the homes games from now on. What do you think?

since Obama watched a football game he is in the running for the Heisman Trophy to set along side his Nobel Peace Prize. Is this true?

  • Isn't it amazing with the NCAA infractions........?

committee that it has come down hard on Bryant of Oklahoma State but remember the USC fiasco with Reggie Bush which has just seemed to disappear. I mean there was so much evidence and some of it circumstantial but how do you ignore the family renting a house they couldn't afford to a sports agent that settled the matter out of court. The NCAA is not consistent with its operation when it comes down to handling infractions. I am not dissing USC because if you can get away with it then fine but the NCAA has wielded a heavy stick against other teams. What do you think?

  • To college football fans what team do you think is playing ...?

    the best right now?

I can go down the line and point to flaws in almost every top team (i.e., Florida - weakness is lack of good receivers, Texas - defense doesn't look that good, Bama - not so hot in the red zone due to inexperienced quarterback, Ole Miss - don't know in that who have they played, Penn State - Big 10 enough said, Cal - one dimensional on offense, LSU - offense and defensive lines are sub-par and the quarterback is inconsistent). I think The U (i.e., Miami) is playing the best football right now. They remind me of the old days under Jimmy Johnson in that they have tremendous speed on both sides of the line and one heck of a good quarterback and I am a die-hard SEC fan if you are wondering. Your thoughts?

  • How about Big Ben ....?

I follow this section closely and the talk when it comes to the best quarterbacks always seems to revolve around Brady and Manning. But I think Big Ben gets overlooked and that final drive against the Cardinals last year is stuff legends are made from. Who else thinks Big Ben is a great quarterback?

  • When Obama was campaigning for President he talked of health coverage for all and it would ........?

pay for itself. Well, why do I hear rumblings among Congressmen that they are reluctant to consider raising taxes to pay for health coverage for the uninsured. Oh no! Do you mean Obama intentionally lied to the voters? What do you think or did I miss something along the way?

  • With college recruiting this year the ......?

SEC finished with 10 teams in the Top 25 followed by the ACC & Big 10 with 4 each, the Big 12 & Pac 10 with 3 each and then Notre Dame. Do you think this is why folks claim the SEC is such a tough conference?

  • Pete Carroll really surprised me when .....?

he whined like a little child when Sanchez opted to go pro. I have never heard of a coach publicly denounce an athlete's decision to turn pro especially when that athlete is probably the number one pick in the draft. We are talking tens of millions of dollars here and Pete sounds selfish and way over the top. Your thoughts?

  • Congratulations to Oklahoma for a fine game. Folks have...?

said the Big 12 doesn't have defense. Well Oklahoma played one heck of a game but the play calling and execution for the Gators in the fourth quarter made the difference. I have heard that Texas should have been in the game but I thought Oklahoma was the best representative from the Big 12. Your thoughts?

  • When looking at the Oklahoma roster...........?

40 players are from Oklahoma and 44 are from Texas. Therefore, if Oklahoma wins the National Championship should they split it with Texas since Texas seems to be more responsible for their success?
