What is your favorite football quote? Mine is ......?
when Deacon Jones was being interviewed and they asked him about his pass rush technique. It went something like this 'When you slap a man or woman upside the head it makes them blink. That blink is all I need to get by them.' That was one mean dude.
To What Hump - That remark by McKay is another gem and when asked he shot back with the answer so quickly and in a nonchalant manner.
With Deacon's quote what made me laugh is that when he mentioned the head slap it just wasn't against a man but he threw in a woman as well. I mean where did that come from.

Long, long ago the Packers beat the Cowboys in the infamous "Ice Bowl". It was so cold that some of the cowboys had to be treated for frostbite. When Vince Lombardi, coach of the Packers, was asked if anyone on his team got frostbite he replied, "Winners don't get frostbite."

My fave football quote is when Ben Roethlisberger was being interviewed about Mike Wallace`s last minute touchdown and he said he told Wallace before catching the big touchdown, "It`s time to grow up and do this!" I don`t know why I just thought it was kinda funny.

"We couldn't do diddly-pooh offensively. We couldn't make a first down. We didn't run the ball. We didn't try to run the ball. We couldn't complete a pass. We sucked. We sucked. It was a horseass performance in the second half. Horseass!"- Jim Mora Sr.

The one I hear in my head alot when a supposed bad team beats a good team is Denny Green saying, "If you want to *** crown them, then crown them***, but they were who we thought they were, and we let them off the hook." He was talking about the Bears.
