When looking at the Oklahoma roster...........?

40 players are from Oklahoma and 44 are from Texas. Therefore, if Oklahoma wins the National Championship should they split it with Texas since Texas seems to be more responsible for their success?

Update:

I don't know Blibityblabity in that's quite a stretch.

Update 2:

You think so Mersie77 in that I thought it was an improvement after all the OU slander.

Update 3:

To Maestro - I'm talking about what high school program they are recruited from not the state of their birth.

Update 4:

To Maestro - Look at the question in that more football recruits are from the Texas high school program. Therefore, isn't Texas more responsible for Oklahoma's success.

Update 5:

To Little Tsunami - It's better than Pete Carroll saying he doesn't understand the computers when teams like OU and Florida have an advantage because they play a championship game.

Update 6:

To Jan - I'm an avid LSU fan and I'm just trying to clear the air in the Big 12. There seems to be a lot of stuff floating around. :0)

Ohio should get a portion too, since all the teams in the championship game the last three years were coached by an Ohioan.

Dude! We have to stick with which university the athletes are playing for, not what state they are from! Any team in the top 15 is constantly trying to pick the best players from all around the country -- even other countries (look at some of the kickers!).

With your kind of logic, how would I be categorized? I was born in Texas but was only there 3 months. I grew up most of my life in Oklahoma. I graduated from both OU and FSU, and I don´t even live in the US right now! Do you really think the defining mark is what high school someone came from?

Just another thing to consider: what about the NFL? No one hears much about where players came from EXCEPT what universities they came from.

Wow! Has the quality of the questions in this section really decayed in the last several months?

More Texas logic....it never ceases to amaze me.

But,sharing the title with Texas? I think not.
