Can you store CDs in the car over a long period of time?

I was thinking that temperatures get pretty hot in a locked car in summer and cold in winter. Will it damage CDs if you keep them in the car all the time?

Yes but not in the open. Or you could use a copy of the CD or use an MP3 player + FM transmitter

Yes, because I have a friend and her mom leaves them in a case all year round and they don't ever get damaged
