What does "cool" mean? Can an old person be cool?
I've been hearing about things or people being "cool" for years now but it seems to be used in so many ways that I really don't understand it. Is it something exclusively young and at what age does it become impossible for someone to be cool?

I think cool means-up on things, in with the fashions/trends, cars, things of that nature. It's not impossible for anyone to be cool and you are never to old to be cool, ever. If you're fun loving and fun to be around you are cool.

I think "cool" would apply to anyone of any age. If an old person is up with the times and great fun, they would be "cool"
