After 8 years of marriage, my husband and I couldn't believe we were finally pregnant! When I drove home in tears to tell him, he met me outside at the curb. We stood at the curb holding each other and crying.

Our adoption proceedings (through an agency for childless couples only) came to a screeching hault. We now have 4 children!

Hmm...my first three were the pretty normal..."Really?", but w/ my fourth it was different. We had three boys and my last one was only 8 mths when I found out I was pregnant (I was wanting to get my tubes tied after 3, but he kept insisting we may want to have another years down the road). Well, I was completely crying and so scared...I really didn't want to have another child, esp. since I still had a baby. I kept avoiding him when he got off of work, but he could tell I was upset. He kept asking me what was wrong, and finally (with a big cry) I told him "I'm pregnant". He just looked at me and said starting jumping up and down saying "Four kids, four kids" grinning from ear to ear. Then he comforted me and told me how much he loved me and no matter what problems we faced, it was okay because we loved each other.

Now she's 3 and we couldn't have imagined being any happier.
