Why Don't People Give Answers?
When somebody posts a riddle, I wish they would answer their own question. There are usually several totally different answers and it ends up going to voting. Then we never know the poster's answer!!
I meant to say give answer when they vote for best answer. When it goes to voting, we don't get to see what the asker had in mind.

The poster doesn't post the answers so people have a chance to figure it out for themselves.
It's common for the poster to award "Best Answer" to the first poster to guess the riddle correctly.
Of course, most questions are pretty obvious once you see the right answer anyway.

So true.. maybe they post questions/riddles, but don't know the answer themselves.
