It's all a balancing act... if you use more calories than you take in, you lose weight... if you use fewer, you gain weight. You need to burn about 3500 more calories than you take in for each pound you lose. So you need an extra 70,000 calories of exercise over a two month period, or about 1167 calories per day, over and above what you eat.
So let's look at a few exercises... and these are just estimates, because the calories you burn are also dependent on your weight. You can burn around 500 calories per hour jogging... so a hard two hour run every day is one option (you burn more running fast, but try doing that for an hour or more).
The cross country skiing machine I workout on daily yields about the same 500 calories/hour... you'll get more like 600-700 out of an inclined treadmill. And so on...
I lost 30 pounds in the last year, with little change in diet and the addition of regular exercise. But that was over the course of over six months training for a backpacking trip... and it also entailed strapping on an 80lbs backpack for a four mile hike twice a week (along with the ski simulator and other stuff). Weight loss, however, wasn't my primary goal, but rather cowboying-up for a 12 day backpacking trip. Not that I'm complaining about the weight loss...
Do the math, and check out the links. It seems possible to me, but you're going to spend AT LEAST a couple of hours a day at this. You'll find it's far, far easier to change diet, particularly if there's excess in your diet. Leave out that twinkie and a couple of Cokes every day, and you could save yourself a hour's workout.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but diet is a much bigger component of weight loss than exercise. If you're not eating a well-balanced diet that is rich in protein, calcium, fiber and mono-and-polyunsaturated fat (and mostly devoid of fast food, junk food, soft drinks, saturated fat, trans fat, and high fructose corn syrup) you could work out for several hours a day and STILL not drop 10-20 pounds in two months. To give you an example: I was doing 30 minutes of cardio at least five times a week and strength training three days a week, and I was gaining flab. The reason? I was eating too much and a lot of what I was eating was garbage. So I adjusted my diet, and I've been losing between four and five pounds a week for the past month. Diet will make you or break you.

That's a big amount to lose in such a short time. Typically, a healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. You might lose about 5 pounds right away, due to water weight loss. And you will need to change your diet, unless you already eat very well. At the very least, cut out the sugar and the fried stuff. Doing this alone helped me lose weight fast! Do both cardio and weights. Try doing cardio intervals (low intensity with a mix of short high0intensity bursts) to boost your heart rate.

there is no way to lose 20lbs in 2 months without changing your diet.
the best way to lose weight, though is by cutting calories and exercising. 2-3 miles running 5-6 times a week will do it for cardio. try 2-3 toning sessions with weights and work your abs every other day.
cut you calories too, it's essential. a 150 lb woman can go as low as 1300 calories per day, but with this workout schedule it should be more like 1500 minimum. there are lots of diet websited that you can use to see what your calorie intake should be.
also reduce all of your salt intake and you will see an immediate drop in water weight and not feel so bloated.

I don't believe you can do it with no change in your diet.
I lost 48lbs in 5 months.
I ate a healthy diet of Lean meats, poultry, fish, eggs, vegetables, fresh fruit, potatoes, pasta, brown rice, beans and pulses, skimmed milk, low fat dairy products, non sugary cereals, sugar free beverages, tea and coffee.
I cut out all takeaway foods, ready made processed foods you buy in the supermarkets, cakes, biscuits, chocolate, sweets, alcohol and sugar fizzy drinks.
I joined a gym, attended 5 times a week or more, doing cardio for 1 hour at a time.
The real challenge is in keeping the weight off. That's why so many people that diet, put all the weight back on again once they stop dieting. You have to change your eating habits for good. Exercise really does play an important part in maintaining your weight too.
I wish you lots of luck.

OK then. First don't starve yourself because that is a bad thing. Eat but not alot just normally. Now with the excercising do 20 pushups and 20 situps a day and drink alot of water. Do some walks early in the morning or really late at night but don't run because that just takes your energy away. Now with the eating i would suggest alot of pasta. Maybe going to the store and buying some whole grain pasta and some organic tomato sauce and cooking some spaghetti. Also try some sandwiches and some provolone cheese and some ham with wheat bread. Also a salad is good too.

You may not have to change your diet if it is not full of trans fats and white flour. I've lost 1 pants size in 1 week by watching my portions and frequency. The only exercise I've done is yoga. That's all I can handle right now. But in the past I was a runner up in a modeling contest by doing vigorous aerobics. That's what helped me.

First thing is to make sur your colon is clean. Most westerners walk around with up to 22lbs of matter in their colon. So clean out and drink plenty of water. When you are clean stay clean by balancing your diet. If you don't want to change your diet then add a colon cleanser to your diet, like physillium husk. Then work out every day hard doing something different each day. 45 min. hard work. It doesn't really matter what. Keep in mind though that the out put has to exceed the inout of calories if you are going to be successful.

A realistic weight loss schedule would allow you to lose 2-3 pounds a week. That is about 10,500 calories a week, or 1,500 calories a day. You have to change your diet to have any chance of coming close to this number.

What kind of meals do you eat now? If you are eating tons of sugar and processed foods you will have a harder time losing weight. Weight loss is 20% exercise and 80% diet.
