Why don't republicans realize that their top two leader never served?

They must be really dumb if they do see that the Iraq war is being run by two individuals who never served in the military.

Bush- never served and never was in the National Guard which during Vietnam was a dumping ground for the wealthy so they didn't have to fight.

Cheney- got so many deferments to even count.

So there you have it, two non-military types screwing our current military royally.

Neither did FDR who presided over the greatest war this nation has ever been involved in. Neither did Bill Clinton, Bosnia, Somalia, Iraq bombings.

Not that I'm defending Bush and Cheney's running of Iraq because it is criminal but it doesn't take a soldier to be commander and chief just someone that listens to their soldiers which these guys definitely don't do.

As long as we're throwing personal insults around, have you served? You have the whine of a limp wristed, yellow, spineless, Coward. You probably sit in your basement afraid to go outside in the daylight where real people might see you. That statement is just as truthfull as your rant, so how much did it help the world we live in? Get a clue, read a book and stop buying into the political bigotry of the Democratic Party. Yes President Bush served. I would ask you to visit your local VFW and I am sure you will find some Guard and Reserve members who did go into combat, and some that didn't. The fact is they served their country and so did President Bush. When you say that the service of the Guard an Reserve is not honerable, those are fighting words. Perhaps you should serve before you even think about questioning the value of someone else's service! You Coward.

Source(s): Member of the Guard and Reserves 22 yrs who has several combat tours.

You're delusional. President Bush served in the national guard, it's been investigated over and over. Even Dan Rather admits it. I'll bet you're going to vote for Hilary. What branch did she serve in?

LOL Bush didn't serve? lol there are a lot of guys in the national guard who would "politely" tell you other wise.

Bush is a trained fighter pilot, where exactly did he learn to be one of those? last time I checked there were not a lot of private schools that teach you to fly military jets.

As for Cheney... who cares, and who didn't know that?

You know you should see a doctor, they say BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome) can be treated by professionals. I think you would be better for it.

    Clinton Dodged

Here is Clinton's notorious letter in which he tells why he dodged the draft, and skipped the country, and wrote of his "loathing" for the military.

CLINTON’S DEC. 3, 1969 LETTER TO COL. HOLMES

"First, I want to thank you, not just for saving me from the draft, but for being so kind and decent to me last summer, when I was as low as I have ever been. One thing which made the bond we struck in good faith somewhat palatable to me was my high regard for you personally." - Bill Clinton

That is very faulty information. Bush served honorably.

I guess you didn't vote for Clinton, because he didn't serve.

Which candidate (that served) will you be supporting in the election. Hillary, Obama.
