Absolutely not. When I signed the contract I made a commitment. Sometimes it's difficult, sometimes I have to be away from friends and family, but that's what I already agreed to that and it's too late to change my mind now.

Not a chance. I'm leaving for Basic soon, and I can't wait. I doubt my answer will change after OSUT, so I'm answering in confidence. I don't regret enlisting. I can't wait to do all I can to defend my country, my freedoms, and my family. I've always wanted to join, and the feeling I'm getting right now, knowing that I'm going to be part of the United States Army, is amazing.

I am a 46 year old housewife and mom, if the military could let me enlist at this age I would! Wish I would have done that years ago!

Nope. The Air Force has done right by me. I'm doing well enough that I have re-enlisted twice already.

I would, but probably not the way you mean; I was a Navy jet mech, and although I enjoyed it for the most part, if I could have a 'do-over' I'd go Construction Mechanic.

No but if I didnt have retained hardware in my spine from when I was in the Army, I would go back down and sign up again

My nephew would tell you to perform a certain anatomical act, but he isn't here so I will. **** you. Record reenlistment, at least in the marines is occurring.

    Why would I want to?

I am proud of my service and I would not trade it for anything.

And then as a bonus, having "Sergeant" on my resume also may help some future job applications. :)
