Will English girls consider dating chinese guys?
Recently I got to know a girl( she is english) from work. We get on great and have lots of common interest. I fancy her loads and really want to ask her out for a coffee or dinner so i can get to know her better.But I am chinese (lived in the uk all my life) and i'm worried that because of my race, english girls will not even give me a chance. Would be grateful if you guys can give me some advice. so that i don;t make a fool of myself by even asking. Cheers

Just to keep you updated. We had a conference in London today and I practically spent the whole day with her and we spent hours chatting and the eye contact was so intense, she's such a great listener and is so smart. But the bad new is that she has a bf but I guess the good new is that I have just found another good female friend. Thanks to you guys for the encouragement
One more thing to add. Whilst chatting with her, she complimentated me by saying i am very well spoken and thinks my hair cut is cool. Do you think she likes me? Is it worth waiting around?

if she looks at you by your race and for that reason will not go out with you then she does'nt love you and you should stay away from her. i know if you ask her out and she says no, then it would be hard for you to know why she is saying no, instead why dont you first ask her if she would be your freind and take her out as a freind? if she goes with you, it means she is not racist and does'nt mind a company like you. then perhaps after a few days you may want to ask her out, if you really think she's the one!
one thing to remember is love is blind, it just happens, it's not only his/her looks, its the actual person you fall in love with. race has nothing to do between lovers.

I think its a shame its a worry for you. I would, I have seen many beautiful chinese guys and would have loved to have had a relationship but neither parties approched, my being shy of rejection perhaps his having the same worry as you. Good Luck, if shes worthy your race won't come into it.

Unless she's not as great as she seems, she shouldn't have much of a problem. I know my only concern (assuming I liked the guy) would be the potential for problems with very traditional parents. You're not likely to lose much by taking a chance so you might as well try.

I say go for it. A lot of girls like other races (myself included), she will make her decision based upon you as a person and not your genetics anyway.

and its just because i feel i get along better with my own culture..Not that im narrow minded, i have pleanty of asian friends,
and british girls tend to be easy. I myself am british, So dont call me racist. ...
