How many people stand for the covenant marriage that God ordained from the beginning of time?

It saddens me to hear people getting divorced over trivial things when God said clearly in his word only for marital unfaithfulness and even that can be worked out,Look at Juanita Bynum and her husband He had physically abused her and hes a man of God,what God puts together no man can put asunder and the attack on the body of Christ especially on marriages can be stopped we all have to pray for the Leadership,Paula White and her husband are filing for divorce, where are we as the body of Christ allowing this to happen to our familys, the enemy is using us as conduits to come against each other, and it has to be stopped, and thats standing for what God said in his word about our marriages,we have to fight for our families or are we going to allow the enemy to steal that to,hes already stolen enough and its time for him to give back everything he as ever stolen from us,not seven fold but 100 fold Lets pray everyone for the leadership and our marriages God bless Lisa

Update:

Hi bitterly, yes the enemy can put people together to thats why its important to pray and ask God who your mate is people get together for all kinds of reasons and its sad to say the percentage do not work out,but God to honors marriage period what ever our choice is and it does not say that is always the best choice,he doesnot like divorce period,it even states an unbeliever is santified by the believer, thats how serious God is about marriage I wish the best for you and pray before you do all things Lisa

I love your passion for marriage. God ordained it. He didn't say it would be easy. No relationship that is between a bride and groom is. And that goes for the body of Christ. Jesus being the groom and the church being the bride. But those relationships are worth every trial and tribulation. Stay strong sister in Christ. I am going to pray for you and those others you mentioned right this minute.

I'm not married but one day I hope to be and hopefully my future husband and myself will stand for the covenant of marriage that God ordained. With the marriages that are getting divorced, do we know that God put them together, or was it lust, security, or money etc. quoting from the bible "what God puts together, no man can put asunder". I believe the devil can put marriages together and say it's God that put them together...all the while when that marriage fails, they blame God. Also, while people that are not divorced, that doesn't mean that God has put them together as well. For Ex. a person can pressure another person to marry them b/c of kids or self fulfillment; they can stay in a marriage b/c of convenience; they stay because they are afraid to leave. They could be married for years, but they are not happy...I don't believe that God would put them together if they're not happy. So yes, I believe as long as it's the right time and both people are willing to give it all, that's when I believe God put them together and no man can put asunder.

That command about men not putting a marriage asunder , applies even to the man INSIDE the marriage itself.

God said let no MAN put asunder what GOD has joined. If the man in a marriage is cheating..well.

Lisa..my name is also Lisa. Open your bible to Isaiah 45:7 .. I use only the KJv.

Trust that God knows what He is doing. Don't be so sad.. Just trust God. ( remember people are not God )

I pray for people to gain ears to hear as Jesus said to do. And know that God promised that all tears and sorrows and shames and horrors will be erased at His command at His time. God keeps all the promises He makes.

Jesus specifically said there will not be husbands and wives in heaven, so I can't possibly imagine how Mormons can justify this, other than just not believing in the Bible as God's word.

I do agree that it's sad that so many people are getting divorced though. I do know a lot of people who were better off and happier after they got divorced, and sometime their kids too, so you can't say it's all bad.
