To legging or not to legging?
OK, so I bought a dress for a party and I am trying to figure out if I should wear leggings with it? Are they played out? (I saw a TON of people wearing them in NYC a couple weeks ago). Am I too old? (I'm 29). If not, should I do bare legs or what? Here is a similar dress, but the print is an oversized maroon and black houndstooth and it is a knit fabric. I am currently on the hunt for a pair of black wedges.

I dont think you should wear leggings, i think it may look a bit to young, instead maybe go for black tights, they are more 'in' this season =] that is such a cute dress too so tights or no tights you'll look great! =] hope i helped!

I think leggings will work with the dress, especially since it is knit fabric. Some say that leggings are not in this year, but a lot people still wear it and the outfit will look cute!

I do think the leggings trend is a bit played out, but most of all I think of leggings as something you would wear in warmer weather. Right now tights are very popular for the fall. I think that dress would like very nice with some opaque black tights and black ankle boots. I wouldn't go bare-legged this time of year.
As for your age, it at really depends on your personal style. I know some women in their 30s who can pull off "younger trends" like leggings and printed tees, and I know some women in their early 20s who dress like frumpy 50-something year old housewives.

Hi, I would not recommend for legging but if you are going for a party then for convenience you can wear one. If not show off your beautiful leg with the black wedges shoes it would look great but do remember to shave and put moisture lotion to look fab!! Have a great time!

a) it's cold
and
b) it looks cute
and
c) with black wedges it would look even cuter
But try the outfit on with some black leggings and with the wedges, once you've found the right pair

Depends on where you're going for a more in the city or going out (bars, dinner) etc. then no leggings. If you're hanging out mall, friends, party etc. then yes. Black ones.
