Why does Yahoo Answers do this? I type an answer and hit submit but the page doenst load and my answer is gone

Question

It happens like every other question I try to answer. It's not the computer because I use yahoo answers from multiple computers. I go to answer a question and im thinking "hey, I might get best answer", but then I hit preview and then submit, and the page looks as if it is loading, but it comes to the "timed out" screen. I then hit the "back" button and my answer is gone.... I'm so tired of this happening!!! Has anyone else had this happen? Are they currently working on a solution??

It happens alot to me for the last week or so.i;ll type a long answer; and submit and nothing ' then it finally will go; and come back blank,   GGGGrrrrrrr it 's getting old already.

The entire Yahoo site seems to be running a lot slower and with more 'glitches' than normal today. You can TRY first of all clearing your cache and see if that helps any. Next, if it DOES happen to you, just hit the BACK button -- often that will return you to the screen that still has your answer, and you can click SUBMIT again and it might go for you. Or, if you have a long answer and are nervous, COPY it before you click SUBMIT -- then you can just repaste it if it disappears.

Sounds like one of the many connections between you and Yahoo timed out.
That happens to me a lot too.

Yahoo is updating and doing maintence at present. They are aware of the many problems we are having with different sites

no via fact i never somewhat answer questions extra suitable than 10 minutes old and askers dont often elect that rapidly ....yet i hate it while u write out that superbly theory out answer and positioned up it in ordinary terms to realize the question has been deleted

I have had timeouts but I just click try again. Trying to go back will lose the page.

yes this has happened a few time to me today..it seems a bit slow today also..i turned my computer off for a while came back from breakfast and it seems to be working somewhat normal at this time

It has just happend to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I took 10 mins typing it out and it went kapooo!
