Yooooooouuuuk won the gold glove for 1st base but?

Coco got robbed. No doubt about it. He had more highlight plays than any of those other guys. I was happy for Youk though. He really deserved it!

Yeah, Coco was robbed he was clearly the better out fielder this year. Nothing surprising; the RED SOX get robbed every year with GOLD GLOVES. Last year they led baseball with the fewest errors and didn't win 1 GOLD GLOVE (Lowell, Crisp & Gonzolas were robbed in '06) and this year they were 2nd in the AL. the only reason the SOX didn't get COMPLETELY snubbed was because YOUK set a MLB record with his defense on 1st...which is what he had to do to win a GG when you're a RED SOX player.

As usual I agree w/ Qbass187, the Red Sox get robbed most every year.Although I'm happy that Youk was rewarded for his efforts {135 error less games}I think Crisp was robbed.Come on now, he had some of the best catches in baseball this year and he gets nothing.

Coco didn't get robbed at all. Ellsbury played better than Coco and he isn't even officialy a rookie yet. I think Youk deserved it way more. He had no errors in the season!

Yep I totally agree. Torri hunter is winning every year since 2004, which is ridiculous. Not once did I see one mouth-dropping play this year, but I saw about 10+ from Coco.

Proof: remember that catch he made in left-center field? The one where Lugo at (ss) raises his hand to celebrate the catch and Crisp isn't even in the picture yet! Crisp dives in and made a FANTASTIC play!

The Ellsbury arguement is very silly!

1. Crisp wasn't replaced for defensive reasons!

2. Gold Glove is for defense for the season!

He did play in 145 games making only one error making some great cathes this year.
