Why does everyone hate George W. Bush?
"Why does everyone hate George W. Bush, when they can't do any better? Is it just convenient to blame the President for mistakes we all made and don't know how to fix? What did he really do wrong?"
1. I don't try to foster hate, at least within myself.
2. No matter how much you explain truth, doesn't sink into some people's heads.
3. Did Bush violate some law?
4. Did Bush commit some crime?
5. Was there any justified reason for Pres Bush and his admin to fabricate lies (a) at the UN as well as (b) within intelligence briefings submitted to Congress?
6. Is this war justified?
A truly good man by Socrates would submit to truth and if his premises were wrong this "good man" would make amends, rather than to proceed with a lie.
He who lies is observed by all. He who leads a nation and is good is liked by all. This is the difference between a good President versus a bad one.
We, all, did not make mistakes, some people did, but not all.
How do we fix the Iraq War?

Without going into specifics, by being truly honest with one's self and by following the letter of the law without reservation!
If you did just that the fruits of your nation's labors will be such that you restore order to the universe once again and an end to terrorism will occur!
People are not crazy as your government wants you to think. When you kill or terrorize hundreds of millions of people, sooner or later they are going to get back at you in revenge!
Does you government care? Heck no! Many of them are looking at short-term economic goals! Why should these people care! You must ask yourselves.
Just as Jesus died, so shall many who believe in him and you will see the anti-Christ arise, who is a class of people and not an individual.
Good people are put down and good political leaders may never get home to lead their people in God and in goodness. People die by the wayside, due to people who are intent to hurt the earth.
Exactly, how good is the US military? We chastised
.
.
we chastised them after the Vietnam War and the US government got wise. In order to run a "good" military campaign in Iraq, anti-war groups had to be infiltrated and opinions had to be changed. so, in the event that our government was wrong. Opinions went in favor of our government and against any good peace movement.
Answer: George W. Bush is hated because he is a failure and has brought about a lot of misery for many American families. He is, also, hated because his policies increased the cost of living with rising oil prices and an exhorbitant trillion dollar war.
Why is Congress so stupid as to continue to fund an unnecessary and illegal (criminal) war!

Since you asked specifically what crimes Bush has committed, I'll address that issue.
-- Ten Reasons to Impeach George Bush and Dick Cheney
http://www.democrats.com/peoplesemailnetwork/88
-- Contains a complete list of offenses. Charges explicitly citing statutes and laws are listed below:
http://www.truthout.org/docs_2006/010607D.shtml
I. FAILURE TO ENSURE THE LAWS ARE FAITHFULLY EXECUTED
Under Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution of the United States of America, the President has a duty to "take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed."
(1) Self-Exemption From Laws Upon Signing.
(2) Suspension of Basic Legal Proceedings.
(3) Promoting Illegal War
In direct violation of Articles 41 and 42 of the United Nations Charter, a treaty ratified by the United States Senate in 1945 and therefore the supreme law of the land as according to Article VI of the Constitution.
(4) Promoting Torture.
In direct violation of, and as part of a pattern of consistent attempts through executive orders, legal memoranda and alterations to regulations such as the Army Field Manual, to undermine the Federal Torture Statute [18 USC Sec. 2340A];
"The Third Geneva Convention banning torture and abuse of Prisoners of War, as well as non-combatants and unarmed ("enemy") combatants held in detention; and Articles 4 and 32 of the Fourth Geneva Convention... these declarations and treaties being ratified by the United States Senate and therefore the supreme law of the land as according to Article VI of the Constitution"
(5) Promoting Kidnappings and Renditions for Torture.
In direct violation of the United Nations Convention Against Torture, Article 3, and the Fourth Geneva Convention, Articles 31 and 45, the said conventions having been ratified by the United States Senate and therefore the supreme law of the land as according to Article VI of the Constitution.
(6) Use of Illegal Weapons.
II. ABUSE OF OFFICE AND OF EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE
(1) Obstructing Inquiry and Detection.
(2) Replacing the Veto With Signing Statements.
III. FAILURE TO PRESERVE, PROTECT AND DEFEND THE CONSTITUTION
(1) Suspension of Due Process.
Violation of rights of habeas corpus and Fifth Amendment of the Bill of Rights
(2) Unreasonable Searches and Seizures.
Violation of Fifth Amendment of the Bill of Rights
-- Non-Cooperation with Congress:
In derogation of the legislative functions of the Congress, granted under Article I, Section 1 of the Constitution.
(3) Non-Cooperation With Congress.
(4) Establishment of an Unconstitutional, Parallel Legal System
Then there are the lies... Iraq had WMDs, Osama bin Laden (deemed responsible for 9/11) would be brought to justice, Iraq responsible for 9/11 (huh??), whoever leaked Plame's name would be dealt with... the list goes on and on. I'll admit this is not 'scientific', but a Google search on "bush" and "lie" pulls up 5,890,000 hits. There are enough "Bush Lies" to fill a book (with a cursory glance, I saw ads for two) and to merit a website dedicated to "Bush Lies".

People take an immediate dislike to George Bush because it saves time.
Could it be that when you look at business matters, who has the most to gain and where do priorities lie.
As an outsider, and frankly Im probably not qualified to make judgements about politicians or where their interests lay AND Im not a tree hugger as such, but if I lived in your country Id wonder why there were oil tankers with names like Condelize Rice painted on the side of them.
Id wonder why the Federal Reserve of your country is run by Rothchilds and Rockerfeller etc instead of the government.
But isnt big business the government of america any way?
George Bush is so far up the butt of corporate america the tips of his boots dont show.
And he really cares about the kids being killed in Iraq.
How many senators kids are in Iraq?
In the end it doesnt matter where you go politicians are politicians. Self centred power hungry nest feathering mongrels.
Georgey boy is no different to any of them and we lap them up dont we.
Where are the aliens or Jesus when you need them?

Did Bush break a law? I cannot say with 100% certainty that he did but it seems likely. The Highest law of our land is the Constitution of the United States. It is the basis for much of our law. The Patriot Act bypasses or amends some Constitutionally protected rights. Torture, if Bush authorized it, directly violates our law as well as treaties we have agreed to. There are other questionable areas with less factual support.
Did Bush lie or did his administration have reason to lie? Of course they had reason. Every Administration has had reason to lie at some point. His has had reason to lie at a lot of points. He has been caught in some lies.
The main reason that I consider Bush a bad president is America has become far more divided under his watch. He has increased income disparity to divide us into rich and poor eliminated much of the middle class. He has failed to promote tolerance and fostered a environment of hate and fear dividing us by our diversity that used to be our strength.
He has disproportionately addressed the desires of the most socially conservative dividing us by our ideology.
We are much weaker for this in every way.

We sense our direction as a country is taking us toward the abyss. And, it is Bush that is pointing us in that direction. Fortunately, some people are starting to wake up and point toward an alternative to what Bush offers.
We are at a critical juncture. It is my sincere hope we pull back from the abyss because there will soon come a time when it will be too late.

It is easy to blame some one else rather than the one who is at fauut...how can people say Bush lied to go into Iraq, Look at the facts..Iraq had weapon of mass detruction twice and worse than that used them twice.because of that you must assume they have them. If Willie would of done his job when the UN inspeackters kept getting kicked out we would not be there now.

You're allowed to disagree and be disapointed by someone and that doesn't make you a hater...The fact the Bush is incompetent doesn't help, I honestly believe I could be doing a better job!! He did break laws, he lied about the war, and he gave the order to kill ppl in a foreign country...that's a crime, he's not gonna get punished for it, but it's still a crime.

Hey! Who said EVERYONE hates the president? Yeah, we all make mistakes and really I take the president a great man showing what Americans are like. Honestly, no-one should call him anything because it's like calling your self that. Bush may not be a top bloke or Mr. Perfect. But who is?

This is the type of rambling that will force an atheist to exclaim "My God!!!"
And I do mean that sincerely.
Could we get past the George Bush hating?
If your leader was better than him, we'd be talking about them instead.
(P.S. It is true that you are from Britain, correct?)
