Can a 15 year old who has had a baby work?

a few years back a friend of mine had a kid and she was i think 15 and i think she said something about being able to work because she had a baby. Now i have a another friend who's 15 and she needs a job and i was wondering if she can work because she considered an adult from having the baby.

Am i just crazy?

Update:

i am talking about someone i know not myself so please don't assume so. I am 20 years old.

First of all, having a baby does not make her an adult, biologically or legally. Anyone who has reached puberty can have a baby. She could be declared an adult legally by a court if she went through emancipation proceedings and was emancipated from her parents or guardians, but, even if she was emancipated, the child labor laws would still apply.

As far as whether she can work, that depends on where you are at and what the local laws are.

For example, in the United States, "the rules vary depending upon the particular age of the minor and the particular job involved. As a general rule, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) sets 14 years of age as the minimum age for employment, and limits the number of hours worked by minors under the age of 16."

"Each state also has its own laws relating to employment, including the employment of minors. If state law and the FLSA overlap, the law which is more protective of the minor will apply."

If you don't live in the United States, you would check with your country's version of the Department of Labor.

she's not considered an adult unless she is emancipated or something. her parents still have to care for her, and she has to care for her child. she shouldn't let the parents do her work, so she has to start working. find someone other than her parents or family members watch her baby. someone she can trust and someone who she can pay, like a professional babysitter.

my sister always dumped her babies on my parents when she used to work. now she's a stay at home mom because her boyfriend is overprotective. they waste money on expensive stuff, i don't know where they get all their money, must be illegal with the estimated 10,000 dollars they spent in one month. they just come into our house and take food and supplies. we provide the necessities while they can spend on whatever.

remember, don't dump things on people because she might not think its at all bad. but the people are just really polite and will take it until they won't take it anymore.

and your not crazy, your just worried about your friend. but don't get run over or else it will hurt your relationship. my mom kept caring for her 20 year old daughters, then they walked all over her. she exploded, and now they don't like eachother.

the reason is you have to be truthful at first and they will understand.

Having a baby does not make you an adult.

In most places you have to be 16 to hold a job. Some fast food joints only require you to be 15.5 and have a food permit but I'm sure that varies by area. Even so, she'll be subject to child labour laws and won't be able to make enough to support herself and a child.

Is it achieveable your daughter has replaced her recommendations approximately being a mom? little ones this age at the instant are not waiting to be mothers and fathers and he or she could be putting this newborn in risk on purpose as a results of fact she would not see any other way out. Do you already know what i'm asserting right here? If this toddler have been to have an unlucky twist of destiny she could be loose to be a newborn back. i think of you may desire to step in , talk along with her and notice approximately adopting this newborn legally. She shouldn't under any circumstances be left on my own with this toddler! After analyzing which you raped your daughter while she replaced into six, I take back what I mentioned approximately you adopting this toddler! Your daughter and the toddler could be got rid of out of your care as we talk! i don't have self belief you raped her basically as quickly as, you have probobly been doing all of it alongside. is this toddler yours? This places issues into an entire new attitude. you're an animal, do the nicely suited factor for as quickly as and supply them the two up. Your a pedophile and have not have been given any company around any little ones.

Tell your friend to come to Australia.... You can get a full time job at 14 and 9 monthe old, you just have to have compleated year 9, and you cant leave year 10 unless you have a full time job to go to otherwise your parents will get in trouble.
