if you are 50 and have no natural children...do you have regrets??

I would, but that's me, kids are a very important thing to me, but what gives each person happiness is very individual.

As long as you're happy and have no regrets is all that matters. I'm 47 and don't have any children either. At times I regretted it but have gradually accepted that it was not meant to be(although I would have been a great mom). I remind myself of all the freedoms I have had without children and realize I would not have become the woman I am today if I had them. Don't get me wrong though as I think children are wonderful but in this lifetime, the universe did not intend for me to have them and once I accepted that, I've been at peace with it.

I'm almost 60 and have no regrets whatsoever. When I was 7-8 yrs old I knew I would never have kids; I didn't want them. I did not want to have to commit to someone 24/7 for however many years...plus, I grew up in a very volatile household and did not want to repeat history with violence in my own home so I am alone (NOT lonely) and have a dog and cat.

I would be better than having children and regrets

The way I look at it, I'm happy to have spared some kids from having a lousy father ;-)

I'm getting my tubes tied next month, and I'm only 24. Everyone is SOOO afraid I'll change my mind, and I'll have regrets, but I seriously doubt it.

i dunt think so. mayb u feel that ur home is very quiet... not that i am 50 or near 50, i am just teenager lol
