perhaps you could call a massage therapist in his town and get them a voucher for a massage each? (can be done over the phone with credit card or money order)

matching wine glasses with mr and mrs or a girl and a boy sign on them

matching key chains with the date of their wedding engraved

a stunning photoframe with their married names and the wedding date engraved along the edge

a mink blanket never goes astray... even if it is summer at the moment.

a honeymoon survival kit with shampoo, conditioner, soap, lube (if you think you can get away with it a few toys too), bandaids, face masks (she'll love it), foot fizzies, hand cream, aloe gel, vinegar, ice pack, sunscreen, chocolate, bottle of wine, and a dvd. all can be bought at crazy clarks or sollys, put it all in a lil travel bag and bobs your uncle.

Well to start with, the best man is usually given a gift by the groom for being best man. As far as giving the couple a gift. A gift voucher for one of the major stores never goes a miss. Placed inside a real cool looking card. Quite often a couple have a list of items they want or need. Maybe you could get some idea by asking. These days a person can buy really appreciative gifts for under $50. Also you want something that will travel well since you are travelling a long way.

I would ask for money, but if your parents are like mine, "Money is not personal enough" You could always get a new hobby. Ask for a skateboard or a bmx bike. Maybe there are some video games that you want. If you have a big budget for your birthday gifts maybe get a game system if you don't already have one. Ask for a camcorder and make videos. Just search around for different hobbies that sound fun and your birthday can kick it off.
