Why do idiots answer questions?

The correct question should be why do idiots try to ask serious questions on yahoo answers? I mean really who is the real idiot here? Thanks for calling!

Not being an idiot I am not sure how to respond to this question. although the actually labeling could be also thought of as the work of an idiot. However; perhaps they are trying to help, or think they are helping. believe their opinions are of importance and the right ones. Also they may want the points for answering the questions, without any regard for the correct info, and its importance. And one other reason, maybe the question, like this one is idiotic so they give it an idiotic answer?

They just want to say something or forget to answer the actual question, and start going on about something else on the topic. Some people also just do it for the points, lol.

I know what you mean, I hate when they give answers that don't answer my question.

well, if you use yahoo answer, that is part of "risk" u have to take. I got that kind of answers too, well, I won't of call those answer's owner--idiots--unless they on purposely try to make a joke of the question in nasty way.

I think ppl are entitle to ask question and if you dare to ask, kind of have to expect the answer, just don't take it to the heart, even our family doesn't even 100% understand us all the time, how can you expect a stranger live thousand a mile to know exactal your meaning of a paragraph you typed out.

afterall, we should be thankful they willing to take time to even bother to answer or try to help us, that is a act of coompassion.

that drives u buggy yes?? i asked a question just once i needed help with , i get one answer but it doesnt help hmm they get best answer ,, go figure,, welll its early but from what isee so far, few people bother reading the details to a question and get mad at you because they cant read??.. onyx1 maybe they dont know our opinions granted but come on when u add more details n they still refuse to slow down n look?? mj

People don't think before they type. As mentioned above, I'm sure it's a matter of wanting the points... or enjoying the satisfaction of irritating someone.

Maybe it is because they do not think of themselves as idiots. I have a high I.Q. and a lot of life experience, but I 'm sure their are a lot of people out there that could , perhaps, refer to me as an idiot!

Because idiot's ask them questions that you get idiots answering them. Ask silly questions your gonna get outrageous replies, try civilized questions, then maybe you'll get people on your brainwave......How about giving me those point's clever!
