How can I be a Browns fan for 30 years but not be a true fan?

(Please reference my last question)

I take great offense to that! I could have jumped off the bandwagon LONG ago!

I'm upset because we lost again to our rival. We are 1-15 in the past 16 games against them! Yes, we have improved, but look at the second half - 11 total yards until the last drive. I don't accept moral victories, and can't understand why people are so happy today that the score was close. We really didn't do much better on offense, just special teams.

Update:

Thanks guys! I know.... I'm just in a very bad mood today!

Update 2:

Thanks Ashley. But to answer your question honestly, a blowout would be easier to take.

Update 3:

This is very therapuetic. I've let out some frustration today and got some counseling along the way. I think I'm going to make it! (lol!) I need to get back to work!

dont let the little (i know nothing about sports but bashing other people) bother you..i've been a true browns fan from northeast ohio since i was born..we are moving in the right direction. hang in there, we'll be back..the all time series i believe is tied up now..you are right, we lost that game in 3rd quarter..and romeo's 2 time outs didnt help either. as soon as we fix our (d) we will be fine. this year we have to play with what we got but i believe we are (FINALLY) moving in the right direction.hang in there...

is cribbs the best true all around player in the nfl or what..espn thinks so, and so do i..

I am a huge Steelers fan. I am glad they won, but having watched this heated rivalry for the past 25+ years, I would have to say this is the best the Browns have looked in a long time!I At least since the Bernie Kosar days. I think they are only missing a couple pieces of the puzzle. I think they need a running back the most. Lewis has never been effective against Pittsburgh. Romeo has done a good job with the Browns. I like seeing them improve just because it makes the AFC North a lot more exciting!

Ok I believe I said something about "true fan" so if my earlier post upset you that badly, then I am sorry.

My point i was trying to make was...the Browns haven't been the best team the past few years. BE HAPPY for the games they are winning and the progess they've made since week 1. The Steelers are a hard team to beat this year and the Browns came super close. That's something to be proud of. The Steelers could have handed them another blow-out. Would a close game or a complete shut out make you happier?

your deffinately a true fan dont worry about the stupid people that say that to you, if your willing to stand by your team even through all the loses and not jump off the bandwagon you are a true fan. unlike all of those people who jumped on the colts bandwagon once they won the superbowl, theyve been my favorite team for the longest time and it upsets me that they lost last night.

Dude, this is no where near real life. Most of these people on here are loners and losers with nothing else to do or no friends to do anything with that take this place way to seriously. Do not let what a bunch of strangers say get to you.

You know if you're a real fan or not. Maybe you should do to those who question your fanhood what the guy on the commercial did. Choke 'em.
