There could be several reasons for error but first, due to maintenance of website or if not then please clear your browser history re start computer and check. Or if it is new problem the best and safest way is SYSTEM RESTORE. If you are using other than vista then it will be easier, Click on start/all programs/accessories/system tools/system restore. Chose the date when computer was running fine. After that re start computer. I hope this answer will help you.

I haven't had that error before but it sounds like a technical problem as the Yahoo Answers Team tries to update the site. They ask that if anyone notices odd behaviors on the site to please post about it on the Suggestion Board.

Most likely that's due to server lag - when the Yahoo servers for Yahoo answers are getting such a high volume of traffic that they can't even return the "yahoo answers is taking a break" page.

If you have IE6, download the latest version of IE and be sure to update your Java software. Personally, I use Mozilla Firefox. If nothing else.. start>programs>accessories>system tools>system restore and revert your computer to the last date it seemed to work properly. Its a safe and completely reversible process. I'd recommend doing first things first though. Good luck. =]

    HELLO THERE,

This didn’t seem to work for me initially. This was because IE had cached the site and wasn’t updating the page after I updated it, leaving the same old error. TRY CLEARING IE’s CACHE if it isn’t working for you. (Tools|Options| .. Delete Files)
