I know of the cure for death and that is Everlasting Life through Jesus Christ. No sickness,no pain, to blindness, no AIDS, no STD's, NO HATE, Only love. Unconditional love.
Wouldn't you want to share that with someone who is Dying?The Bible says, " Go ye therefore and teach ALL nations." If you are a Christian, Born of the Spirit and washed in the blood. We are commanded by God to go and spread the Word of God. If we are Ashamed of God, He will be ashamed of us.
No, I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
He wants NOE to perish. I pass out Tracts all the time. I send them in with my bills, the grocery store, homeless people with a lunch or a candy bar ( if that's all I have) I send them in when turn in my videos to NetFlix. You can share the Gospel everywhere you go.
My Pastor's Wife got Saved when she was 15 when someone left a Tract on the table she was waiting on.
I would rather hear " Well done thou good and faithful servant." Then someone cuss me out and slam the door in my face. "I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13
You CAN'T force someone to believe the way you do. We can only GO as God commanded. The rest is up to the unsaved person you are witnessing too. Once you have shared the Gospel, if someone chooses NOT to accept Jesus as their Savior, their blood will NO longer be on your hands. But, if we pass that one person and NOT share the Gospel and they die and go to Hell. We will see that in Heaven and we will have tears. I don't want that. I have passed many people by and I hope and pray I can win more souls to the Lord for His glory not mine.
Great Question Michael.. Thought Provoking. Thank you.

a) I have an obligation to be an example unto the unbeliever and the believer and help to spread the gospel when I can. (Is there an open door of opportunity or am I forcing something that not even Jesus forces upon others?) If all anyone sees/hears of Jesus is the example I've given them, then at least they saw that.
b) Everyone will have to decide for themselves, for all by ourselves will we stand before God. But, if you're so happy and content with what you believe, shouldn't you try and share that happiness?
c) Faith systems meaning what? Too many people have views that lead them to violence if their views are questioned. This makes it a bit hard to speak to one another at times.
d) You know what, many people call themselves believers, but they are no more a "believer" than a potato chip. So, there is probably nothing you could say they all agree upon. All that think as I do, however, agree that Salvation (your ticket to Heaven) is through the Blood of Jesus Christ.
e) No, nothing at all.
f) Still too many views (whether right or wrong) for all those that CLAIM Christianity to be able to agree on how to "Save the World."
g) Still a big fat Nope.
h) i) j) Nope, nope, nope.
Bottom line, not everyone that says they're a Christian even know what that term means and, thus, their views are so anti-Christian or confused that all those Claiming Christianity will never, never agree. Sad, but true. Not even everyone in my church agrees on certain doctrines.
Make sure you know exactly what you believe and why because when the time comes, you'll be all by yourself before God and you'll be judged according to your life.
May God Bless You!

It depends on the situation, sometimes I will express my beliefs. Then there are times when I do not. Some people want to argue and I am not into that. I think we would all like to do something about poverty and hunger. Personally, I think that people in the entertainment field make too much money, for doing nothing that means anything. We have teachers that spend 8 plus hours a day with our children trying to educate them and they make next to nothing.They will never live long enough to spend that money. There are other people with much more important jobs making less. We certainly need more love in this world. People get so caught up in what religion the person next to them is.........we forget we all live in the same world that needs alot of help.

Quote from the questions Additional Details: There're more but I wont continue, I bet Christians are going to say "oh, he's not a real Christian! unlike the "good" christians" Are you really trying to equate a man literally responsible for millions and millions of murders and untold misery with a peaceful church attendee living a quiet life? Of course he is not a real Christian, he is not even a good human being by any standard of any ideology, whether that be atheist or Christian. Maybe you should have put a few quotes from Hitler in your question regarding The final solution, for example: “The holocaust is the solution to the Jews final question” You are not doubt aware that the final solution was influenced by a perverted interpretation of Darwin’s natural selection, or as the Nazi's interpreted it: Survival Of The Fittest? As a result of this belief in eugenics, Hitler and the Nazi’s were responsible for countless atrocities; can the same be said as a result of his tenuous links to the Christian Faith? Categorically: no. Furthermore, the theory of evolution (natural selection) has well and truly been hijacked by atheists as proof of absence of a creator (a totally flawed argument I might add), so are we to take from Hitler’s adoption of eugenics that he was an atheist and judge all atheists accordingly? Stalin was an atheist; does that mean I can judge all atheists based on him? Not to mention Pol Pot and Chairman Mao. If you are going to use this type of illogical argument against Christians, don’t be surprised if it’s turned back against you. One last point: Hitler waged war against countries that were basically Christian and did not agree with Hitler’s final solution and many, many people from these countries died so that the evil that was Nazism was destroyed. Does that not tell you something about Hitler’s alleged Christian links?

Pure religion does not law impute sin & death to any;
Does visit those infected with law by impure religions,
since they all seem to have a bad case of life + death.
I don't find anything private about we all are one: global.
People do dialogue when knocked off their high places,
and get visited by tormentors for not forgiving all others.
I find even devils believe there is one God: James 2:19,
so believers do about as well as devils, who notably fear.
Know the truth makes you free of believe any and all lies.
The world is already saved by Christ is the end of the law;
Yet awareness of eternal salvation is still less than global.
Human rights are below what's all right in heaven above it.
I don't want the false peace that passeth all understanding.
I want the understanding that brings true and lasting peace.
I find grace is sufficient; And poverty is among the law folk,
think financial freedom is freedom, till they get deadly $ick,
and only then look for freedom from the source of dis-ease.
God is Love, but not agapao kind + cruel, rather agape kind;
For only the agape kind of love, called charity, "never faileth".
All the other sorts of love: philadelphia, eros, agapao, all fail.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Well, Jesus gave His followers the Great Commission, in other words commanding us to spread the gospel message.
However, in our "politically correct" society where people are so quick to either take offense or get contentious, I take the approach of expressing my faith more by my lifestyle and behavior than by my words or by "wearing" it as a badge or something. I quietly go about practicing my faith and pray for others, and if they see something in my actions that points them to Christ and ask me a question about it, I try to answer them honestly and thoughtfully as the Spirit leads.
I really have a hard time with the denominations that do the door-to-door proselityzing (sp?). I'm not sure at all that's what Jesus had in mind. I try to be respectful of other faiths I don't understand or share, and would hope to get the same respect in return.
Where I'm having the hardest time is with the open immorality of our society now that is so at odds with my personal beliefs. Where is my right to take offense and express outrage at that?

Some like to say "all religions are basically the same" and yet they still think theirs is the best.
I do know I have to know my own beliefs so that if someone asks I can offer them the peace and joy I have found. However I pick my moments, because *I* don't like to be hassled by telemarketers, and some religious folk are about as persistent and inopportune.
If I see a real interest I am ready to speak, but I don't force people to listen. That just turns them off.

Good question.
I believe that religion is a private, personal matter that everyone needs to decide for themselves. I don't feel the need to spread my beliefs to others because I believe that there is more that one right way, and that I know that not everybody would approve of or be compatible with my belief system. (Pagan/witch) Also, people are different (individually and culturally) and have different ways of seeking the comfort and hope that religion provides. My religion, in fact, teaches not to proselytize for that very reason. Which is why you will never see any pagans, wiccans, witches, etc. knocking on your door inviting you to meets/coven gatherings.
In paganism in general, you will find people who are pro-life, environmentalists, human rights advocates, animal rights advocates, and love for all creatures--just as you would in many other religions, so yes, there is something to agree on.

Its not about religious beliefs. It is about a relationship with Jesus.
Do I feel I have to express this to others? Absolutely. This is what we, as Christians, followers of Christ, are suppose to do.
I think this is defiantly a matter that someone needs to decide for themselves....Freewill. Are you going to choose Jesus or not? That is up to you. God will not force himself upon you.
I think that all those things you asked about...saving the world, world peace, love, etc.....that is something I would think we all have in common in hoping to achieve, unfortunately, without Jesus, none of it is possible.

Religion is a private matter, most of the time. But there always will come a time, when someone or something, calls upon you to stand up, and defend your faith. As I have discovered recently.
