What to do when your mom favors your older sister and doesnt want to be around you?

I'm sorry that your mom is not making time for your daughter & you. She's missing out on a lot of course but in the end, she's only hurting herself. Your daughter will grow up & form her own opinions about her grandmother but in the meantime, if your daughter is old enough to ask you where Grandma is, for now, you have to pacify her with an answer. Later, she'll get the message loud & clear. Don't loan your mom anymore money in the future. Let her borrow it from your sister. I know this has got to be hurting you a lot but you can't change your mom, so let her regrets be hers down the road.

Sounds like you need to make yourself less available to your mother. When she starts to miss your company she will be more apt to treat you with more respect.

I would also ask her for the money she owes you. Not paying you what she owes you is disrespectful also.

Don't call your mother for a time and when she calls you don't invite her over for a while. Eventually she will be ready to see you and her grand daughter.

Find really good friends who arent shallow and are there for you. Dont pick them on how popular or good looking they are. Pick them on the quality of their character. Youre going to need good loyal friends who care about you.
