What solvent will remove permanent magic marker from walls and also jeans?
My grandson (3) wrote with permanent black magic marker on painted walls and on his mom's denim jeans about an hour ago. Help!

I have tried rubbing alcohol and magic eraser and nothing has worked for me. My marks are on walls and refrigerator and I can't get them out at all. Does someone have any other suggestions? I figure I will have to sand and paint the wall, but I can't figure out what to do about the refrigerator!

You can start by trying isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. You may need a brush for the jeans, and a way to rinse it soon after applying the alcohol. (also stay away from open flames, especially if you use the 90 to 100% isopropyl variety)
If that doesn't work acetone (nail polish remover) may work, but it may also remove the paint, so try it on a hidden spot first.

as for the jeans, tape a $50 doll are bill over the spot, hand the garment to any sales Clark at the store she bought them, the stain will go away, as for the walls, if u have the matching paint, apply a coat of kilz, [stainblocker] then paint,if no paint then go in the closet cut a 1''x1'' sample of the sheet rock, match the color, then follow example #1, plus get a small patch kit for the closet

There are products like Goof-Off or Goo-lengthy gone or different strong solvents which will get rid of everlasting marker off the wall. flow to a ironmongery shop cleansing section or paint section for a sensible determination of things. you may also ask someone interior the shop for help.

i've heard rubbing alcohol or hairspary will work for the jeans. magic eraser for the walls!!
