Benadryl pill can help to releive the symptoms. It wont hurt her. Only takes away the allergy symptoms. To consult a doctor would be nice as well. Besides, did she know there was an allergic component in the food she was eating or is it the first time ?

your mom is responsible for her own self. she is probably alright. If she were having an allergic reaction she would probably be having breathing problems and developing a rash. is she wheezing and gasping at all. if not she is probably going to be fine.

Call a doctor. If you don't have one, call 911 for advice. You may need to take her to the emergency room. Do it now!

next time, go to a doctor and ask for her own medications, what food is right to eat for her and not right to eat for her. But she's o.k., she may ask for help if she's not o.k., right?
