What are the most powerful Bible verses you know that you are willing to share???

When one chooses to belong to God, the demons attack. I know for the fact that Bible verses are very powerful and can serve as shields against attacks of the dark side.

What Bible verses do you know for protection, happiness, abundance, peace of mind etc.???that you are willing to share....

I appreciate answers from true experience

    You are quite right! When you step out for the Lord, Satan will never leave you alone. We are told in Ephesians Ch.6 that we can expect some mighty spiritual battles. This aside, I love John 3:15-18 as it seems to me to be the very nucleus of the Bible. Satan knows he can't take away your salvation however he always tries to rob believers of the JOY of their salvation

    The verse where jesus says "think not that come bringing peace; I come bearing a sword."

    I think that states fairly clearly what the bible is all about.

    By the way, the 'dark side'? Are we in the movie Star Wars now?

    Your description of spiritual warfare reminds me of Ephesians 6. My church has preached on these verses, like belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, etc. These pieces of God's armour are actually the gospel of Christ, like the breastplate is God's righteousness given to us as a gift, not our own self-righteousness. The helmet of salvation is to protect our minds from thoughts of doubts, guilt, condemnation thrown by the demons. It is helpful to know that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against evil forces, so that we don't treat other people as our enemies, but rather pray for them and bless them, even if they mistreat or misunderstand us.

    As for peace of mind, I sometimes hold on to verses like John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." I have this memory verse card with me whenever I go out, so that I can remind myself if necessary. It reminds me that Jesus is my Peace, not my circumstances. It gives me strength and peace of mind to persevere in faith during tough times. Another verse that gives me hope and encouragement is that God will turn everything (whether good or bad) around for our good because we are His children. (Romans 8:28)

    So many good ones, hard to choose - depends on the need - I think the key is to read and study, read and study - then the Holy Spirit uses "divine recall" to bring the applicable scriptures to your heart just when you need them the most.

    Strictly for peace of mind however - one of the best for me has always been Philippians 4:4-9.

    "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27

    "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear:

    because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love." 1 John 4:18

    Romans 8:35-39 (New International Version)

    35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36As it is written:

    "For your sake we face death all day long;

    we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."[a] 37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

    And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, to know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
