He left his team seeking more money with the advisary of Boras....then realized how much fun he had with the yanks
so he is signing a 10 yr deal worth 275 mil...and will get more if he meets certain goals....that'll keep him happy for a long time.....unless he wants more money again....

Well I'm a Yankees' fan, and I hate he came back. I didn't like it 4 years ago when they got him, I didn't like it the entire 4 years he was with the Yankees, and I will hate the next 10 years. I'm tired of hearing people say he is the best baseball player today, he IS NOT, NEVER HAS BEEN, NOR WILL HE EVER BE THE BEST. Does anybody actually look at his stats compared to others or do they just go by all the hype. He is a BELOW average 3rd baseman, his range as a 3rd baseman is below average, he makes near the top in errors. He hits well, I'll give you that, and even at that he only hits when there is no pressure on him, he chokes when you need him and in post season he is clueless. So why does everyone keep saying is is the best today and even worse the best of all time, there are many playing today that are far better than he is.
I wish I was rich, I would pay him $30 million, a year, just so he doesn't sign with the Yankees.

I say that as quickly as A Rod does come back & interior the american line-up he will nevertheless submit some good numbers & nevertheless be efficient to something of the group & help the Yankees compete for branch & do by no ability count selection the Yankees out of winning AL East

Well...I can't tell you what I think about STAY-Rod because I know of no baseball player with that name. But I can tell you what I think of A-Rod. I think he's, in plain words, greedy. He wants tons money and thinks he's fully entitled to it. I think it was completely unintelligent of him to opt out of his contract with the Yankees in the first place, with Boras's advisory. But, be that as it may, he's one of the best players in baseball right now, and he's likely to win the AL MVP award. People who say that he"sucks" have no clue what they're talking about. While they may not LIKE him, he does not "SUCK" at all. No one can argue that he's not a good baseball player.

Any one who says gay-rod is funny. Cuz secretly, they wish he was on their team, no matter how much they say they don't. Because anyone who wouldnt want the greatest player in the game today on their team is just an idiot. There was never any other option than the Yankees for A-Rod. He likes it there. His agent just got in his ear and influenced his decision. Thats why A-Rod negotiated his new contract himself, at 75 mil less than what his agent was looking for on the open market.

I think the never-ending use of "funny word"-Rod has got to stop...thats what I think. It's old and un-original. Just let the guy play ball, enough with the dumb nicknames.

I would have liked him to play short for boston,NO WAY IN HELL would i have signed him for 10 years,6-7 at most,he is the best in the bussiness right know but not worth what the yankees are paying him.

A-Rod still wins here. His last contract was $250 million over 10 years...now it's $275 million over 10 years. He's still making more money...not the money Boras wanted but more nonetheless.

Considering he went to us by himself, I guess it's alright to have him back. I rather get him back by him begging than us pursuing him. And it can't hurt having a two-time AL MVP at the clean-up spot.
